Complaint:

Shereef Abdallah complained to the Press Complaints Commission under Clause 1 (Accuracy) of the Editors' Code of Practice that the newspaper's article had inaccurately stated that he had wrecked his career by sending out offensive messages on Twitter.

Resolution:

The matter was resolved when the PCC negotiated the publication of the following correction:

Following a column on January 17 which repeated the allegation that Ed Milliband lookalike Shereef Abdallah had wrecked his career by sending out offensive messages on Twitter, Mr Abdallah has asked us to make clear that he denies the allegations, that the police did not press charges and that he has not been dropped by his agency.
