A woman complained to the Press Complaints Commission under Clause 9 (Reporting of Crime) of the Editors' Code of Practice that an article which reported on criminal charges against her husband had identified her and her daughter, despite their being irrelevant to the proceedings.

The matter was resolved when the PCC negotiated the removal of the photograph from the newspaper's website, as well as the newspaper's informal assistance in removing the content from third party sites.
