Jihad Breich complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper was continuing to publish an online article detailing a court case against his brother for alleged money laundering offences. The newspaper had failed to report that the defendant was, in fact, acquitted of the charges. The complainant therefore considered that readers would have been misled with regards to the outcome of the case in breach of Clause 1 (Accuracy) of the Editors' Code of Practice.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper deleted the article from its website.
