Complaint:

A woman complained to the Press Complaints Commission under Clause 1 (Accuracy) and Clause 3 (Privacy) of the Editors' Code of Practice that the newspaper had published private and inaccurate information about her.

Resolution:

While the newspaper did not accept that there had been any breach of the Code, the matter was resolved when, as a gesture of goodwill, it undertook not to republish certain information relating to the complainant's private life.
