A man complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper had published a report of his court case in relation to violent disorder but had not subsequently reported that he had been acquitted, which he considered to be a breach of Clause 1 (Accuracy) of the Code.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper said it would seek to report the final outcome of the case.
