A woman complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper had intruded into her private life by publishing material she had written and distorting it in breach of Clause 3 (Privacy) of the Code. She was further concerned that the article wrongly implied that she had spoken to the newspaper.


The complaint was resolved when the newspaper removed the online article from its website.
