Sarah Cook complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the magazine had breached Clause 3 (Privacy) of the Editors' Code of Practice with its publication of an article that contained intimate details of her relationship with the author of the piece.

Although the article did not refer to the complainant by name, the magazine acknowledged her concerns and recognised that the item contained personal information. The complaint was resolved when the magazine wrote privately to the complainant and made donations to Dementia UK and Shelter, two charities of her choice.
