Complaint:

Mr Sam Boughen complained to the Press Complaints Commission under Clauses 1 (Accuracy), 3 (Privacy) and 6 (Children) of the Editors' Code of Practice about an article reporting that he had made a request for fast food after waking up from a coma. The complainant also expressed concern that the article included an unauthorised photograph of his daughter.

Resolution:

The matter was resolved when the PCC negotiated the removal of the online article.
