Mr Marcus Davys complained to the Press Complaints Commission under the terms of Clauses 1 (Accuracy) and 6 (Children) of the Editors' Code of Practice, about the publication of a photograph of his son, and an article which he considered to have been inaccurate.

The complainant said the newspaper's photographer had misled him into posing for a photograph; furthermore, he believed the article suggested that he was national socialist.

The complaint was resolved when the PCC negotiated a letter of apology from the newspaper, as well the removal of the online article.
