A woman complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper had published photographs of her and her young daughter alongside coverage reporting criminal allegations against her husband. The complainant was concerned that she and her daughter had been identified without their consent as relatives of a person accused of a crime, in breach of Clause 9 (Reporting of Crime) of the Editors' Code of Practice.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper permanently removed the disputed photographs from the online article.
