A woman complained, via her solicitor, to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper had identified her in a context which raised a breach of Clause 9 (Reporting of crime) of the Editors' Code of Practice.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper confirmed it had no intention of referring to the complainant in this context in the future, unless the information was put in the public domain by the complainant or through official sources such as in open court.
