Mrs Caroline Stevenson complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper had published an inaccurate headline in breach of Clause 1 (Accuracy). The article had been headlined "Wind farm plan", but the story had been about plans for a solar panel park.


The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published a correction on the front page of next edition. The wording was as follows:

In last week's issue we incorrectly described plans for a 90-acre solar park in Dundry - by Green Energy UK Direct - as a wind farm. We apologise for this error.
