Complaint:

A woman complained to the Press Complaints Commission under Clause 3 (Privacy) and Clause 5 (Intrusion into grief or shock) of the Editors' Code of Practice about an article which reported that a family member had been involved in a car accident. The complainant expressed concern that the article included intrusive images of the victim receiving medical treatment at the scene of the incident.

Resolution:

The matter was resolved when the newspaper removed the online article from its website.
