A woman complained to the Press Complaints Commission under Clause 3 (Privacy) and Clause 5 (Intrusion into grief or shock) of the Editors' Code of Practice about an article which reported that a family member had been involved in a car accident. The complainant expressed concern that the article included intrusive images of the victim receiving medical treatment at the scene of the incident.

The matter was resolved when the newspaper removed the online article from its website.
