Miss Julieta Molina complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper had inaccurately reported that Phillip Goodeve-Docker had died from hypothermia when temperatures fell to -20C; the temperature had actually been -70C. The newspaper had also inaccurately reported Mr Goodeve-Docker's age.

The complaint was resolved when the PCC negotiated the correction of the online article and the publication of the following correction in the newspaper:

"In our August 20 report of an inquest into the death in Greenland of charity trekker Philip Goodeve-Docker, we said temperatures fell to -20C when in fact the figure was -70C. In addition, his age was incorrectly given as 37. Mr Goodeve-Docker was 31."
