Natalie Sansom

Clauses Noted: 3

Publication: Daily Mail

Natalie Sansom complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper had published her private health information in breach of Clause 3 (Privacy) of the Editors' Code of Practice.

The newspaper swiftly removed the detail considered intrusive from the online article and the matter was resolved on the basis of a goodwill payment made directly to the complainant plus a donation to her charity of choice, Papyrus, which works to prevent young suicide.
