Complainant Name:
Mr Nahill Younis

Clauses Noted: 3, 4

Publication: Daily Mail

Mr Nahill Younis complained to the Press Complaints Commission about the conduct of two reporters who had attended his home address. It was the complainant's position that he, and his family, had been harassed, in breach of Clauses 3 (Privacy) and 4 (Harassment) of the Editors' Code of Practice.

While the newspaper stated that the reporters had not acted on its behalf, the PCC negotiated a resolution to the complaint, when photographs depicting the complainant and his family were removed from an online archive, and the online report was deleted.
