Miss Julieta Molina complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper had inaccurately reported that Phillip Goodeve-Docker had died from hypothermia when temperatures fell to -20C; the temperature had actually been -70C.

The complaint was resolved when the PCC brought it to the complainant's attention that the online article had been corrected, a footnote appended, and the following correction had been published in the newspaper:

"An agency report of an inquest into the death of Philip Goodeve-Docker, who froze to death on a charity trek in Greenland, incorrectly stated that he died in temperatures of -20C. That was the sort of temperature the expedition was expected to face, but in the two-day storm in which he died the temperature fell to -70C (Hypothermia killed Greenland adventurer, 20 August, page 11."
