A man complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper had published three articles linking him to a reality television performer in a way that revealed private information about him in breach of Clause 3 (Privacy) of the Editors’ Code of Practice.

The complaint was resolved when the PCC negotiated for the newspaper to delete one of the articles from its website and amend the others to remove all reference to the complainant.
