Complaint:
Mr T Horwood of the Catholic Media Office complained that an article wrongly reported that the Pope was a supporter of Fulham Football Club and that a "doctored" photograph was used depicting the Pope apparently holding a Fulham scarf.

Resolution:
The newspaper published a correction and accepted that a few readers may have thought the photograph was genuine. They said they would take care in future to avoid any confusion.
