Lembit Opik MP complained that an article had inaccurately suggested that he had broken up with his former partner, Sian Lloyd, for his current partner, Gabriela Irimia. He clarified that his former partner had herself broken off their engagement and it was after this that he had begun a new relationship.

Lembit Opik MP has asked to point out he did not dump the weather lady Sian Lloyd for a Cheeky Girl as Dog said on November 4. In fact it was Ms Lloyd who ended her relationship with him for reasons unrelated to his subsequent relationship with Gabriela Irimia.
