Complaint:

Ms Heather Mills complained that the newspaper had inaccurately suggested that her daughter was going to sing on the soundtrack for Shrek 4 with her father. Sir Paul McCartney also made clear that this was untrue. Ms Mills was concerned that the story had brought undue attention on her daughter.

Resolution:

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published the following apology:

In our article “Paul’s Bea to sing on Shrek film” on 11 November, we reported that Beatrice McCartney was to join her father Paul singing on the forthcoming Shrek soundtrack. We have been advised by her parents that this is not true and we are happy to set the record straight.
