Ms Sara Munday complained to the Press Complaints Commission that an article which reported that three babies in one family had been born on the same day was inaccurate when it stated that the odds of this occurring were 50million to one. In fact - as there was no constraint on the day the first baby was born - the odds were a much shorter 133,225 to one.

The complaint was resolved when the PCC negotiated the removal of the article from the newspaper's website in addition to the placement of a note on the newspaper's records to ensure that the error would not be repeated.
