Complainant Name: Clauses Noted: 1 Publication: The Daily Telegraph Complaint: Mr Joe Cooke complained to the Press Complaints Commission under Clause 1 (Accuracy) of the Editors' Code of Practice, about an article which had inaccurately reported that he had been shown in a documentary travelling in a Rolls Royce, and sporting a silver suit and silver-topped cane. Resolution: The complaint was resolved after the PCC negotiated the publication of the following clarification: Joe Cooke "I was bullied out of Oxford for being Tory" (Dec 1) said that Mr Cooke, a former president of the Oxford University Conservative Association, had featured in a documentary about Conservative students travelling in a Rolls-Royce sporting a silver suit and silver-topped cane.
